Glaswegian artist, Stevi Some paints as his way of communication, reflecting on his life experiences inspired by the landscape around him. Painting in a free unconventional way with many saying a hint of madness, he creates surface structures and textures with a host of materials.
Graphically trained with a love for mark making, painting was alway's a natural progression, and an opportunity for a continual growth. This process usually involves a huge amount of time of playful creativity through abstract compositions and restricted textured paintings.
As an artist Stephen believes that we should be able to paint as we feel, speak out about events and what is happening in the world freely, reflecting on situations, curiosity, and trends. The aim is to evoke the viewer to feel the power through the piece as they look.
